This is a short story collection by a dozen Australian authors who were inspired by the many and varied meanings of the word ‘Obliquity‘.
What is Obliquity?
- deviation from moral rectitude or sound thinking
- deviation from parallelism or perpendicularity
- indirectness or deliberate obscurity of speech or conduct, an obscure or confusing statement
Seventeen short stories have been brought together in this book, connected by an interpretation of a single word. Some are humourous, and some dramatic. Some fantastical, and some psychological. From the criminal mind to the light of heart, there are stories here for everyone.
Two of my works are included: Poppies in the Sunlight and A Love Note by a Different Name.
